We had a great stay at Casterbridge, we are all very relaxed after a week in this great location, and the team were very attentive. If you want easy access to the Dorset coastline and want to stay in peaceful surroundings with easy access to shops and supermarkets then this place is a gem, modern but homely and relaxing, we settled in quickly. We used the location for its locality to Chesil Beach and proximity to Lyme Regis. We stayed during October half term and there was still plenty of stuff for the kids to do even this late in the season, Weymouth Sea Life Centre was a good day out. Fossil hunting on Charmouth East beach was a hit with the kids too. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again :)

Our second stay here which must say something! This is a small, exclusive enclave of well-spaced out barn conversion style properties situated in a delightful small hamlet conveniently just outside of Weymouth, within a short drive of the many facilities of this popular seaside town. Easy access is also afforded to the lovely Dorset countryside to the north as well as several delightful towns. Highly recommend a streamside walk to the nearby Upwey tearooms/ water gardens. We stayed in the same property both times. Spacious, well-planned, excellently presented and equipped. Cannot fault it nor the attentive service we received from the staff at North Manor Holidays

What a beautiful property! Everything was perfect! The high ceiling as you enter the property is stunning . The patio outside and the private garden are all well kept. This is a wonderful base to explore the surrounding countryside. We had wonderful days out at Durdle door, Lulworth Cove and Lyme Regis. I would highly recommend this property. The kitchen is well equipped with every modern convenience.

A comfortable, safe place to stay. Very peaceful. We observed lots of wildlife from the Lodge - deer, squirrels, two types of woodpecker etc.!
Lovely walks through the village and beyond. Shame we couldn't stay longer.

This property was fabulous.
Every amenity you could wish for and very very comfortable. Your dog is made very welcome as well which was very important for us. The shops are a short drive away and pubs in walking distance. The beautiful Jurassic Coast and all it has to offer is a short drive away and is surrounded by the most amazing countryside which was amazing.
We would definitely recommend and would love to come back!

We recently stayed in Shepherd Oak & had a very comfortable stay. Upwey is a beautiful village with a shop, pub, garden centre & tea room in walking distance.
The property has very comfortable beds & was well equipped, very dog friendly too. The team were always on hand if we needed anything. Beautiful property in stunning location & only 5 to 10 mins to Weymouth town & beach. Highly recommend.
Fantastic property - perfect for our stay. We really appreciated the seasonal touches (Christmas tree, crackers, festive treats) and practical items such as the stair gate and high chair. The property was very well maintained and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking full meals.

We spent a week at Everdene In September 2025. The accommodation is absolutely superb with three double bedrooms all with king-size beds or single beds whatever your preference. The accommodation was absolutely spotless and a wonderful location in the heart of a small village. highly recommend and would definitely stay at North Manor Meadow again!

Highly recommend North Manor Meadow Holiday cottages, The cottages are beautiful and very well maintained, clean and include bedding towels and all crockery and appliances, they are also in a beautiful area with local amenities and tourist hotspots within a short distance, we have stayed here a few times over the last couple of years and always have a wonderful time, our needs have always been met and staff have always been quick to respond and deal with any communications we have, every one has always been very helpful and friendly and we will continue to return.

We had a lovely stay at Bramshurst, myself, my husband, disabled mother-in-law and our dachshund.
The ground floor was very accessible as described so mum could have a relaxing stay. Our dog loved his biscuits on arrival! The cottage is beautifully light and airy and well appointed, we couldn't have asked for more.

We had a wonderful stay at Bramshurst Barn.
This was our first visit to Dorset and it did not disappoint. The barn was clean and very well equipped. Helen was wonderful and on hand if needed. We stayed with our Vizsla, Bella and our little boy Rex. We found the playing field great for walking the dog and enjoyed walking past the river. We visited the cider and sausage festival at The Springhead pub and enjoyed many days on the beach at Weymouth. Gorgeous stay! Great memories made with our little family.

Useful info received prior to our arrival meant that finding the property and checking in was very straightforward. Lovely, quiet location within easy reach of Weymouth and Dorchester, with large supermarkets and other amenities only a few minutes' drive away. We had a really lovely few days at Bramshurst. We had a minor issue with the shower which was sorted within hours, very impressive! The house is beautifully laid out and decorated, is comfortable and well-equipped. Loved the meadow/garden area too. There's lots to see and do in the local area so we had a busy time exploring without spending ages in the car.
Dorset is beautiful and we hope to go back soon to see more.

Have just spent the week at these lovely cottages, we hired out all 5 cottages and took family and friends to celebrate my 50th birthday. The cottages were spotlessly clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. They are in a convenient place for visiting Weymouth and surrounding area. The Royal Standard is a great local pub which made us very welcome.
The team was great when I booked the cottages and made sure we had everything we needed and kept in touch during the week.
Great place will definitely be booking again.

I stayed at Budmouth Cottage for 2 weeks. Everything was as described, very clean and beautiful. It was great that both bathrooms had a shower. Parking was also great.
I would book it again anytime.

We had a problem with the cooker ring staying on. We contacted the accommodation management team and they came and tested everything to check it was functioning correctly to manufacturers standards and we had no more issues with it.
Thank you for their prompt attendance. We loved the cottage, its location, and the easy access by car to places of interest.
We would come back and stay again in the future.

Beautiful place and area! We stayed in Budmouth. The cottage was modern and comfortable. We travelled down for a weekend wedding but wanted to make the most of the area. Kitchen well stocked with appliances and utensils Beds are a good size. It does get warm in the sun but thanks to the great sliding patio doors and velux windows it lets in a nice breeze! We had to leave slightly early due to an unforeseen circumstance which the owner knew about, however they were responsive and amazing dealing with it! Will definitely recommend to others and if ever in the area again would come back

Great place, very accurately listed. We loved it. Very well located in the beautiful village of Upwey, with most major attractions (Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, Chesil Beach, etc.) no more than a 25-min drive away. Dog-friendly too, which was a must for us!

Comment: Had a great stay at Everdene, so much so that I have booked another couple of weeks there. The location was nice and quiet, and the house was very clean and tidy with plenty of room. There was a nice selection of drinks and some biscuits, along with washing up liquid, dishwasher and washing tablets. Communication with the owner was very clear, though there were no issues so it was only really the code for collection of keys on arrival. This was emailed prior to arriving, so there were no delays. In short, it’s a definite recommendation from me.

Beautiful cottage and very comfortable stay with a homely feel. Loved that we had private parking. Tucked away so very peaceful and absolutely immaculate place and surroundings. All 3 bedrooms were spacious with lots of wardrobe space! Loved how powerful the showers were and the bed upstairs was very comfortable. Great communication up to and throughout our stay. We found it an ideal location for what we had planned and only a short walk to the train station. Perfect location with lots of tourist attractions nearby.

We were a group of four adults looking to explore the Jurassic coast in Dorset. Helen's Cottage was perfect for that, but also to simply relax in a very nice environment. The cottage is very modern, full of light and there is a nice garden outside, ideal for a BBQ. Helen was always available when we had any questions and the whole process was incredibly smooth. Overall, we had a great time!
